The Pocklington Trust is currently looking for volunteers to help blind/partially sighted people living in Wandsworth with reading, walking to the park, shopping or just having tea and a chat. They are also recruiting volunteers for a telephone befriending service. Full training provided and travel expenses are reimbursed.

The Telephone Befriending Service

Do you feel isolated? Need someone to talk to? A new telephone Befriending Service is available for people with sight loss living in the Borough of Wandsworth. Through regular weekly phone calls the service offers social and basic emotional support and information about services available within the Borough for people with sight loss.
