Feedback from the consultation - St George’s Hospital is set to become one of London’s four new major trauma centres and acute stroke units, after results from a recent consultation. 528 Wandsworth residents responded - the majority of whom supported the proposals - making them the second most vocal borough in London and ensuring their views were heard.

Public's Views

Hundreds of people came to find out more and give their views about Healthcare for London’s proposed changes to stroke and major trauma services in Wandsworth at Southside Shopping Centre on Thursday 26 March 2009.

Over 200 visitors completed the questionnaire at the stand with a member of NHS Wandsworth staff and another 150 people took a copy of the consultation document and questionnaire away with them.

NHS Wandsworth staff handed out 750 get the right treatment bags filled with local health information like when to use a pharmacist, how to find a doctor and dentist and how you can choose which hospital is best for you.
