G – LINKs Nationally and Locally: notes on role and coverage
This paper briefly outlines what Local Involvement Networks (LINks) are and what their role is in terms of legislation and statutory guidance. The Wandsworth’s LINk’s role and remit within the Borough is described against this background. References are given for further reading.
H – Health and Social Care in Wandsworth: population, institutions and issues
This paper sketches out the landscape of health and social care (HSC) in Wandsworth: who the residents are and how they are not typical of the rest of London; the statutory health and social care bodies and their responsibilities; and the main issues around HSC in this Borough. It suggests some quick wins and groups to engage with.
This is the updated July report on the resources available to the Interim Executive and the Executive during the current financial year. It outlines the LINk Executive budget and the staff resources available from the Host to support the Interim Executive and the Executive.
J – Proposed LINk work programme
This outline work plan shows the following:
- Work to which WCA and Interim Executive are committed under the terms of the contract with WBC with targets and deadlines where relevant
- Suggestions for areas of work which Interim Executive may wish to carry out further work (including suggestions from public meeting)

K – Claim form for LINk Interim Executive expenses
Following on from the IE decisions about allowances and expenses in paper F Recognition and Reward, this guidance and claim form has been drafted to provide a clear explanation of the basis for expenses and a simple way for IE members to claim.
L – Dates, format and procedures for future LINk meetings
This paper reflects the Governance policies agreed by the IE and lays out proposals for IE meetings held in public, dates for future IE meetings, the second Public LINk meeting and a one day training event for IE members.
M – Election of Chair and two Vice Chairs of the Interim Executive
This paper proposes the way in which the IE elects a Chair and two Vice Chairs from amongst the IE members to continue through from the end of this meeting to the election of a full Executive which is likely to be in December.
N – Communication and participation
This paper sets the scene for a LINk communication and participation strategy and programme of work. It describes the underlying principles of accessibility, inclusion and genuine participation in Wandsworth LINk and explains that a more detailed proposal will come to the September IE meeting from the newly appointed Executive Assistant, Simonne Reid with the help of M-A-C consultancy.
