LINk Representatives
Wandsworth LINk has an ever growing number of people authorised by the Executive Committee to officially represent the LINk at various local strategic Committees/ Boards and steering groups. If this sounds like something you may like to do then keep an eye on this page because we are always being asked to join new committees/boards and steering groups.
You have to be a member to be a representative, membership is free and joining is relatively painless, just click here , scroll down the page and click on the big ‘register now’ button.
Wandsworth LINk currently has representatives on 19 committees as well as having regular meetings with Dawn Warwick Director of Social Services, Graham Mackenzie Director of Strategic Planning and Borough Commissioning at NHS Wandsworth, Stuart Thompson Director of Mental Health for Wandsworth and David Astley CEO of St George’s Hospital.

Seeking LINk representatives
St Georges Hospital needs your help and are seeking members to representative LINk on the following groups:

Patient Safety Committee
The aim of the patient safety committee is to ensure the best clinical outcomes for patients and that risks to patients that arise directly from clinical treatment and practice are managed and minimised. The committee will do this by ensuring that evidence based practice is delivered, that systems and processes are in place to identify, evaluate and reduce clinical risks, and that the governance committee and the Board are provided with assurances that optimal clinical outcomes are being achieved.
* The Committee will meet at least four times per year. Additional meetings may be held on agreement with the Chair of the Committee

Energise for Excellence in Care (E4E)
E4E is a quality framework that supports the delivery of high quality care with measurable outcomes that are evidence based. E4E builds on the variety of initiatives already underway to embed quality as the organising principle across the NHS and is aligned with national work including High Impact Actions for Nursing and Midwifery, the NPSA’s Patient Safety Campaign, Productive Series, DH Quality Initiatives and Transforming Community Services Programme as well as the RCN’s Breaking Down Barriers, Driving up Standards work.
* Minimum of one hour every month to attend the steering committee.
